    The person fields on tables and data products show who owns them and who the contact is, so you know who can answer before you ask in the chat.

What people often ask.

Is Overview a data catalog?
It covers much of the same ground: search, descriptions and who owns what. The difference is that the content comes from the model your team already maintains in Specly, so there is no separate catalog to keep up to date alongside it.
Does Overview show data from the platform?
No, only metadata: tables, columns, datatypes, descriptions, data products, sources and owners. The contents of the rows are never shown.
Who can see Overview?
Everyone in the project. A Viewer or Contributor sees only Overview and can't change the model by accident, while a Developer or Admin switches between Overview and Development.
